Balenciaga SS15

I've been watching videos from paris fashion week for days now, I've been researching online and I have to say Alexander Wangs collection 'Balenciaga' really caught my eye. I'm so glad I stumbled across his collection, this has to be by far one of my favourite ones I've seen. The pieces go from structured to sporty/street with a hint of matrix, what a bundle. Also Wang didn't just stick to all black/all white he has used pastels in his collection, he's mixed it up in so many ways I'm lost for words. This is what has really caught my eye as I love my all black/all whites but I also love my pastels, so for me this really is just perfection. Have you noticed the long coats and the straightness of the clothes? I know I've already said it but everything is so structured and perfect even the models, their faces are straight their body's are straight and the clothes just drop, Wangs really pulled it off this time, presentation is key. To watch the show online has given me major envy to the people surrounding that runway as they got to see it live. The runway had character itself, it's glass and grid-work had smoke lurking underneath as the models walked above it, this show couldn't have been presented any better.

As you all may of heard these three made an appearance Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and their daughter North West. The crowd went wild for baby North and by the looks of things Norths had her eye on some of the pieces as she was clapping and smiling as the models walked by.
Ofcorse they all turned up in Balenciaga pieces aswell to support the show, it would of been rude not to, right?

BBQ Chicken Salad | Recipe

This is such a simple meal but I've added some ingredients to it which really adds a lot of taste and gets rid of the dryness from the lettuce.

Your going to need:
Tomatoes
Lettuce/watercress/rocket salad
Cucumber
Chicken
Coleslaw
Pepper

BBQ Sauce:
1 tablespoon of cider vinegar
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dark brown soft sugar
1/4 teaspoon mustard/mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic, minced
120g ketchup
1 tablespoon chilli sauce

First of all I washed the watercress under the tap then drained it out, I then placed it on the plate chopped up some tomatoes and cucumber and mixed it in with the watercress.

Time to make your BBQ sauce, grab a small saucepan keep the heat at medium and mix together the ketchup, sugar, mustard, garlic, chilli sauce, cider vinegar, worcestershire sauce and salt.
Then once it's heated up and all mixed together leave it to cool down.

Next your going to need the chicken, chop it up into slices and once the BBQ sauce has cooled down brush it on the chicken.

The next option is up to you depending on wether you want coleslaw and a BBQ sauce taste mixed together but I loved it mixed together, grab a tablespoon of coleslaw and mix it in with the salad already prepared on your plate this will get rid of any dryness in the salad.

After you've done that mix the BBQ chicken in with the salad. Lastly I covered it in pepper for extra spice and for a side dish I added some roast potatoes.

Enjoy!

Lush Winter Goody Bag | Haul

Last week I was suppose to be going to Lush in Exeter, Devon for the launch of their winter products, sadly I couldn't make but they kindly saved me a goody bag which I'm going to be talking to you about today!

So White Shower Gel -

A few ingredients are added to this shower gel including fresh apple and cyder vinegar, also some soothing rose. It has a very spicy scent to it, I don't really know how to explain it apart from saying 'winter spice'. It says on the bottle that it 'helps soothe the skin and calm the mind' this sounds so relaxing I cannot wait to get this haul done so I can have a bath and finally use these products!

Christmas Eve Bubble Bar -

This is going to add so many bubbles to your bath, just simply crumble the bar under the hot tap whilst your bath is running then the scents and colours from the bubble bar will reveal themselves, Im so excited to see what the smell and colours are going to be like, as I already think the bright colours on it look beautiful, ofcorse I can't use it until Christmas Eve though!

Honey I Washed The Kids -

Can I just firstly say that this is my favourite product I got in the goody bag, it smells amazing and it's also got a gorgeous caramel scent to it. It's full of so many good ingredients like Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Honey ect, these are so good for the skin and to have them all in one bar of soap will be interesting to use I can already tell my skin is going to be feeling silky smooth after a few scrubs!

Sparkler Bath Bomb -

This bath bomb contains POPPING CANDY! Noone understands my excitment right now it's pretty obvious what's going to happen, maybe a mini firework display before you get in the bath?! Again like the Christmas Eve bubble bar it doesn't reveal it's smell and colours until it's in the water. It is said to be 'Rose Jam Scented' It has also been said that it is shimmering and sparkling, I suppose I will find out for myself once I've used it!

My Day In Pictures

I Had such a lovely day out in Exeter yesterday, the weather wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, when I first left my house it was raining and so windy and my umbrella kept turning inside out but the weather soon calmed down and it was just cold.

I was meant to be going to the Lush store last Friday for their A/W new products launch but I couldnt make it, I was gutted! So instead they asked me to go in yesterday and they saved me a goody bag and showed me through the products! The products I got were amazing, I'm so greatful to be a part of their A/W launch! Anyway I will be showing you the products I received and talk more about these products on another blog post I have planned for you all.

We then went to the Chinese buffet (7 Wok) anyone who knows me that reads this will probably laugh as they know I literally only eat at 7 wok hahaha! It's a Chinese buffet right next to Exeter City centre, I will actually say this is my favourite restraunt, I've lost count of how many times I've eaten there and I never actually get bored of the food. The staff are always really friendly to.

Before I went home we went and sat in a park/gardens for a while just to chill out, it was slightly cold but it was so pretty all the autumn leaves had fallen from the trees and you can just tell winters on it's way.

A/W OOTD

Winters finally here and I've got my big baggy jumpers at the ready. Sorry it's only going to be another short blog today as I only got home a hour ago and I'm pretty tired! I'm planning on going sleep after this and it's not even 10pm yet, I say that although I may get a little bit distracted by going on my phone in bed and spending the whole night on Instagram and twitter.

Jumper - Urban Outfitters
Mom jeans - Vintage
Trainers - Nike Roshe

I know this outfit is a bit dull, hasn't got much colour to it but I literally just threw a jumper and jeans on and a pair of trainers as it was the cosiest option - it's been raining all day and has been so cold! I can actually say that winters nearly here but that's what I love about it all the comfy clothes and being warm that's what it's all about. I will make sure my next OOTD is all glamorous for you guys!

HOW TO: make cheesy nachos

Your going to need:
Tortilla chips/crisps
Cheese
Tomatoes
Low Fat Natural yoghurt
Tomatoe purée (in a tube)
Thai sweet chilli sauce
Salt & pepper
Rocket Salad

First of all place the tortilla chips In a bowl, I got about half a big bag of tortillas.

Now it's time to make your sauce, for this you will need your tomato purée,natural yoghurt, salt, pepper and Thai sweet chilli sauce

Get a bowl and put about 4 table spoons of the yoghurt in there, then I did six squirts of tomatoe purée mixed In with the yoghurt you can do less or more depending on how much you want the sauce to taste like tomatoes. Then I put 2 table spoons of Thai sweet chilli sauce, again depending on how chilli you want it you can add more or less, it's all about getting the sauce right and how you want it to taste as this is very similar to a salsa sauce I think! Then add the salt and pepper, this defenitly completes the sauce it's a must have!

Next grab an oven tray out of the cupboard and put the tortilla chips on the oven tray ( I'm not using foil as the tortillas stick to the foil so make sure you clean your oven tray before use ).
Then I poured half of the sauce mix on to the tortillas. For cheese I have used cheese slices, I think they are creamier and taste a lot less sickly, but you can use any cheese you want! You then place the cheese on top I used four cheese slices. Next pour the remaining sauce you have left on top of the cheese. The reason why I've layered the sauce is to mix it all up so you can get the taste everywhere.

I then got a tomato and cut it into slices and placed a few slices on top, before it goes in the oven it should look something abit like this:

I then placed my tray in the oven on 150 degrees and left it in for 30 minutes!

Once that's done place it on a plate, I put a tiny bit of rocket salad on the top and added some more salt and pepper.. It's now ready to serve!
Hope you enjoy..
