How To | Make Your Eyes Appear Bigger OR Smaller

First off I want to apologise for yet another overdue post! I've actually been trying to film a few vlogs for YouTube, unfortunately my camera was messing up and every video I filmed I didn't realise until after all of them said 'file error' and I couldn't even watch them back. Disappointed is understatement! I tried filming a tropical/beach eyeshadow look (which didn't save lol) an introduction video/introducing myself, and I was also going to review a few beauty products. I was so excited and after filming a few videos I realised it's something I really want to start doing along with my blog, I enjoyed it so much so I'm going to try fixing my camera and do them videos again for you guys! I'm so excited.

Ok let's get to it!

Everyone's eyes are a different size and shape, unfortunately my eyes are big and round so when I'm not wearing eye makeup I look like I have googly eyes!
I'm going to give you all some tips on how to make your eyes appear larger or smaller, I always use the technique to make my eyes appear abit smaller as I think it suits me a lot more, it all depends on what suits you and what look you feel more comftorable with on yourself.

How To Make Your Eyes Appear Bigger

First thing you need to do is set a base on your eyelid using a concealer or a primer, then use a highlighter under your brow bone, also apply the highlighter to your tearduct as this really makes your eyes pop! Using dark eye shadows such as browns/dark purple/black ect is definitely a no go for this look, make sure you apply a light eye shadow on top of the base you have set on your eyelid maybe a white one that's really pigmented that would make your eyes really stand out. Next you will need any nutural eyeshadow you have, and place right into the crease to create dimension on your eyes, make sure to always use a blending brush so it's all blended out. You can also drag this colour up above the crease to create a shadow. Next get another nutural colour that you love and blend it into the crease again, but don't drag it up drag it on the outer part of your eye preparing for that wing shadow effect. So at the moment your eye should be looking a little bit like this, not exactly the same ofcorse as you may be using different colours but here is a little idea of what I mean -

As you can see the eyeshadow isn't to heavy, it's nutural in the crease and has been dragged outwards and upwards and is white on the eyelid. Next is time for winged eyeliner, so with this you need to make sure the line is thin, if you create thick eyeliner it's only going to make your eyes appear small. With creating a thin line then you need to drag the eyeliner out and finish it off with a wing. If you have any white eyeliner laying around in your makeup bag, apply this to your waterline, this is actually one of the main steps, as it increases your eye size dramatically!

Last of all is to apply mascara to your top and bottom lashes, having mascara on the bottom lashes really brings your eyes out, you could also apply some falsies to your look aswell, a long pair of false eyelashes, such as wispies or anything similar really accentuates this look.

How To Make Your Eyes Appear Smaller

Same as last time make sure to always apply a base to your eyelid if using eyeshadow, then apply a dark brown to your crease, you can use any colours you want if your going for a certain look or using any types of colours that suit your skin tone, I usually use Browns as that's what I feel comftorable with!
I don't apply much eyeshadow with this look as the main part for me is the eyeliner, with the thick wing!
Depending on what suits your eye, do some winged eyeliner and drag the wing upwards as it brings your eyes out a lot!

Then using a black eye pencil fill in your waterline and create a line on your lower lash line, you can smudge this line out using your finger or a brush as it gives you a much more flattering/smokey look rather than having a thick uneven line under your eyes. You can also top this off with a nice brown shade with glitter in or any eyeshadow of your choice, whatever suits the colours you have already used.

Last of all another simple and easy step is to apply mascara, and if you want some false lashes to!

February Favourites | Healthy Food Ideas, Skin Tips, Favourite BeautyProducts

I hope everyone's had a great February, that word 'February' will always confuse me I always forget it's spelt like that and then realise I'm in the wrong when my phone corrects me, thank god for auto correct! I have so many things from this month I want to share with you all such as food, beauty products, fashion items, TV shows, nail varnishes the list just goes on and on..

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you might have seen me make a few posts about hot chocolates and how much I love them, the word 'love' is actually an understatement, I am obsessed and by obsessed I mean I'm having two cups nearly everyday (I know this is bad but there's no judging that goes on here guys). My perfect hot chocolate is to add some milk so it's not to watery or runny then whipped cream and to finish it off I sprinkle some marshmallows over the top! This routine seems to happen every time I make one, I don't think hot chocolates would be as amazing without the marshmallows and cream.

I'm also a big lover of strawberries lately, and chocolate, I could eat them separately but if I have them together in the house at the same time I always HAVE to go that step to far and make some chocolate covered strawberries.

I've also been getting into healthy salads lately aswell, when people hear the word salad they usually think 'eww' but salads are actually really good if you mix it up a little bit. If you live in England like me, you will notice in most supermarkets they have a salad bar? I usually get a few bits from there as you can pick and choose what you want, I also know that a lot of people would rather make things such as pasta, coleslaw, potatoe salad from scratch aswell so you can buy the ingredients from most stores and it's so easy to make. I always put a salad dressing over mine with some toppings such as onion or bacon crispies or even chicken.

I have really got into doing my nails a lot more recently, usually I would just paint them a colour and leave that on until I need to paint them again, I'd never be to bothered about what colour I was painting them. Recently I have been watching loads and loads of nail art tutorials on Instagram and YouTube and I find them so inspiring that I want to try it myself! So I've been on the hunt for nail art kits, new polishes, and also found a Barry M matte top coat which works wonders. I'm also a massive fan of Ciate and Essie polishes now and really want to buy some more.

I also bought some Duo eyelash glue, before Duo I used Eyelure eyelash glue which has actually been my favourite for a really long time, but I've just got a thing for the Duo glue now, I feel like my eyelashes could stay on for weeks probably If I wanted to leave them on for that long lol!

You probably noticed on Instagram I stocked up on a load of beauty blenders? Yep. I ordered one from the actual beauty blender store (MASSIVE MISTAKE) there's nothing wrong with it, it works absolutely perfectly it's just that I went onto eBay a few hours later and saw bundles of them in all different colours selling for about £5. If I could give you any advice I would order the beauty blenders from eBay they are cheap, you get a load of them so they will last longer and they are exactly the same as real beauty blenders.

I'm loving this fucshia pink bag that got sent to me from a shop called 'just for five pounds. I seriously can't get enough of it and every opportunity I get I will wear it. It's so gorgeous styled against white and baby pinks. This has got to be one of my favourite pieces from February.

I also love my new choker from 'Lovelucex' you can find her on Instagram and she has links to her depop and eBay in her bio. As it's getting warmer and I'm way to excited to wear more SS clothes it's time to get the chokers out to pair up with a pretty top. I have so many in my collection and this one is my favourite, I was looking for a double cord one for ages and by luck I found this!

Makeup haul

Hey guys!

Hope your all having a fab day! My days been abit boring so I got a blog prepared for you guys! These are just a few things I have bought over the past couple of months that I really like and think they are worth sharing with you ..

MAC EYELINER IN BOLD -

I bought this on eBay for £8.
I like this eyeliner it's so easy to apply and as you can see the wing is literally on point ..
This eyeliner is a shiny one, I don't know what it is I just prefer matte black eyeliners but I still defenitly love this eyeliner and I think it's worth it's money!

BOURJOIS 13 TOMBEE A PINK -

I like this nail varnish, the colour is a very nude pale pink and that's what I like I have only used it once and I must say it lasts good, apart from if you catch it on anything it could chip - baring in mind this happens with pretty much any nail varnish!!
I use two coats, I wouldn't even say you need two because one coat looks fine! I add two for it to last longer and I think it looks more neat if you add a couple coats! Overall a good nail varnish (sorry guys I forgot the price) I know I'm an idiot!! I did buy it from boots though, also you can probably buy it online or any drugstores near you!

SOAP & GLORY LOVE AT FIRST BLUSH PINK, POP & PEARL -

This blush is so cute! I bought it from boots for about £8-£9 I think. As you can see it has quite a few colours in it I literally grab my brush mix in all the colours and put some on my cheeks.
It adds a lovely glow and it's not to dramatic either it doesn't make you look to shimmery, and it doesn't make your cheeks go really pink like a gnome lol!

TOO FACED CHOCOLATE SOLEIL MEDIUM/DEEP MATTE BRONER -

I bought this on eBay for £5! Bargain I know! I got really bored of the same old bronzer I had been using for ages and really wanted a new one, so I was going to get hoola from benefit then I looked at reviews and people said it can make you look muddy and patchy and I really didn't want to waste lots of money on something that could possibly make me look like a hot mess! So I was looking at bronzer reviews on YouTube and I came across this, people were saying how good it is so I thought I'd give it a try! Once I tried it I absolutely loved it, it doesn't make you go patchy and it also makes you look like you have a real natural tan!
Also good for people with oily skin that don't want to look shiny because this is a matte bronzer.

CHANEL VITALUMIERE AQUA SHADE 20, 30ml -

Ok so same thing happened with my bronzer, I got bored of the same old foundation and wanted to try a new one and heard a lot of good things about this, I bought this on depop market for £18! If you don't know what depop is, it's a new app, where you can buy swap and sell your stuff all you need to do is download the app and make an account! I got this in shade 20 and it is a perfect match! So I have a lot of stuff to say about this foundation, good and bad things here I go ..
Let me list the good first!
So when I first applied it it made my skin look really dewy and glowing I didn't really want to even apply a powder on top of it (but I know what my skin is like it would get mega oily if I didn't)
It really matched my skin perfectly, it has a yellow undertone which makes your skin look so tanned and natural I can't even explain it, it just looks flawless! So id say it's medium coverage, usually I want full coverage but with this I just don't care it makes my skin look so flawless and new one layer is enough for me.

Now let me tell you the bad things
So when you first apply it, it really does look amazing, like you have hardly any foundation on, but through out the day I can feel the oiliness on my skin, I looked in the mirror a couple hours after applying it and I looked abit oily, and where there are dents in my face I noticed that the foundation had kind of sunk into them and it made my foundation look like I had wrinkles on my face a little bit.
I like this foundation a lot, but as my skin is quite oily I think I'm going to save this for the winter instead of using it now and see how it reacts to my skin then as my skin will be a lot dryer in the winter!
If your skin isn't really oily I would say this foundation is perfect for you, it's a shame I had to have oily skin !!

BARRY M LIP LINER NO - 5

I loveeeeeee this lip liner!!!!! It's so easy to apply, it's really pigmented and it's such a gorgeous colour. It makes my lips look really full, and it looks so natural aswell, it's like a natural nude lip colour so it doesn't look dramatic or full on. This cost me about £3 or £4 I think from boots.
It lasts a couple of hours on my lips before I have to apply some more, but even when I do re-apply it, it's not fully rubbed off!

So there's a few of my favourite products I have purchased over the past couple of months guys, let me know what you think in the comments below and opinions on the products to!

Thank you

Maybelline New York Master Duo Eyeliner Review

I really wanted to review this eyeliner I'm never picky with eyeliners they all seem the same to me the matte black ones I usually get but I have to review this eyeliner to let you all know how much I HATE IT!!!

This is the maybelline New York master duo thin or thick glossy liner. First of all I am pissed I paid eight pound for this because from my opinion I think it's awful, others might like it, but personally I hate it I wouldn't have minded spending eight pound or more on an eyeliner if I liked it but I feel like this was a waste of money, I will start of with the thing that bugs me the most, the formula in the product, I put this on and it's easy to apply it's just like applying any other eyeliner there's no problems there but then I recognised when it had dried it looked really shiny and tacky and it was cracking so the eyeliner was actually flaking off it looked really tacky and this is the main reason why I hate it.
I do winged eyeliner nearly everyday and I love getting it perfect and looking really neat and tidy and when I applied this and it had dried I just felt like it looked shiny flaky and all around tacky!!!!
I'm sure no one really wants their eye make-up to look like that. I would love to know what other people think of this eyeliner?
